If you checked out my former post on the venue, The Oasis Resort Negril has definitely added some extra flair since my previous visit. Now, you could possibly have a private meal on the on-site organic farm which produces a number of their offered fruits and food ingredients.
The farm is an avenue of theirs to becoming more self-sufficient, through use of solar panels for electricity and eating (and serving) what they grow. Cue round of applause, please? 👏🏾 Background music will lead you to your destination near the resort’s parking lot.

Oasis Resort Negril Private Picnic
Follow the flower-bordered path from the back of the resort to the farm entrance with your group. You’ll be led to a set up of a wooden table and benches decorated with colourful covering and pillows, complemented by baskets of finger foods and coolers of iced beverages. The fluffy green grass and surrounding fruit tree variety provide a tranquil atmosphere to share stories while relaxing with your crew. This could rank as a contender for a romantic rendezvous in Jamaica idea!
The presentation seemed simple but yet you can tell that small details were definitely paid attention to, similar to an airbnb restaurant and cottage I’ve visited. Simple things can have great impact; being in that environment had my group of 5 bonding more than we did for the entire stay.
Enjoy a secluded lunch on the lawns for $120 USD / ~$15,360 JMD for 2!
Just request a picnic reservation at the front desk or with the general manager, and let the resort do the rest!
Brunch on the Oasis Resort Farm
Chefs can prepare a variety in authentic Jamaican style – on a drum stove using wood and coal fire for your private picnic or event. Patrons would line up for a selection of grilled and roasted meats and side orders, grab a drink of soda, beer, or water, then gather around square tables and benches to indulge. Friendly staff members are present to help minimize your movements by serving and disposing empty plates while you chit-chat with your group. The best way I can probably describe the atmosphere is ‘A Perfect Sunday Afternoon’.
Before this, I’ve probably only been to a picnic hosted by me lol. A backyard picnic, that’s not something you’ll find at every resort.
